So this last week has been one of opportunity and sickness, Elder Phelps developed a very deep and persistent cough and sour trout that has seemed to go on and on and has gotten it's way with the work and with him. We decided that it was best for him and I to stay inside for 2 days instead of going out to work, it sucked, I played Settlers of Catan with myself for over 10 hours and the rest of the time I spent cleaning and sleeping... :) Hey at least the house got cleaned!
For a couple of miracles now! We met
a really cool guy named Mike Shreve he has a couple of daughters and has a
wonderful life! We knocked on his door and he talked to us, we didn't get to
teach him a lesson but he said we could come back and teach him this week! This
is not so much of a hastening the work of salvation stand point but more of a
social one, I got to go on exchanges with Elder Belliston he was my District
Leader in the MTC and it was a great opportunity for us to reconnect and just
talk, his family owns one of the cabins up on Cottonwood Lake so we got to talk
about Star Valley a TON! It was great!
Scott cancelled our appointment on
Wednesday, he had his Girlfriend in town for Iowa Falls and that
took precedence over us. yeah we were kinda sad. but we will see him this week!
and we are excited for that meeting!
Keri had a hectic week but we did
get to talk to her and teach her on Friday and it was a good lesson! (it was the
only thing we did that day because of sickness and it was worth
it!)
Angie and Brad, the friends of the
Mcallisters who we gave their little daughter a blessing, they are communicating
with the Mcallisters and are trying to match up their busy schedule and the
Mcallisters even more crazy schedule and we are waiting patiently on the side
lines, we know that it will pay off in the long run!
Kathee is having more drama than i
have ever heard of happening to one person from physical to family to emotional
stress and everything else the only thing solid in her life right now is Jesus
Christ and HIS CHURCH! Pray for her and her daughter
Kaylee especially.
Caitlin got back from Germany on a
school trip and had a ton of stories to tell from the trip! She is living with
her parents right now over in Delhi which means that she isn't in our branch
boundaries but oh well! we still love her!
well i need to write to president so
I G2G
