Well, the holidays are upon us!

November    24, 2014

Well the Holidays are full and well upon us as a nation! And with that comes some "fun" things, Black Friday (with the old lady that got trampled in walmart last year), Thanksgiving (with all the food and goodness and all the families that want the missionaries over, we have three meals lined up on thursday and 2 on friday), then you have the wonderful life of the Christmas rush, Thank GOODNESS for the wonderful church that we are a part of and how they want us all to SLOW DOWN and take a deep breath christmas.mormon.org is a great example of this it has a launch clock counting down till it starts to help the world remember that the season aint about gifts or even giving it is about CHRIST and the wonderful person he was from humble birth to wonderful manifestation in the Americas! We all need to magnify the attributes that he exemplified and help the world become a little better. "A journalist once questioned Mother Teresa of Calcutta about her hopeless task of rescuing the destitute in that city. He said that, statistically speaking, she was accomplishing absolutely nothing. This remarkable little woman shot back that her work was about love, not statistics. Notwithstanding the staggering number beyond her reach, she said she could keep the commandment to love God and her neighbor by serving those within her reach with whatever resources she had. “What we do is nothing but a drop in the ocean,” she would say on another occasion. “But if we didn’t do it, the ocean would be one drop less [than it is].” A quote from Elder Holland in the last conference.
This week was a GOOD one though, we FINALLY got a, soft, date set with the S*****r Family and that is a WONDERFUL thing in and of itself that we were able to get D** to commit to pray about a date at all. He has the classic, "when God tells me i am ready then i will do it" response. we are working with them and striving for the 20th of December!
Well we are really having a TON of fun as a companionship right now and are really stoked for the season and all that it does entail we are super excited for the "He is the Gift" initiative that the church is coming out with and are excited to use it in our proselytizing!!!
Hope all is well back home and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE COAT IT IS AMAZING!!!!!
