What do you get when you throw a bowl of pasta in the sea? a-pasta-sea!! (Apostasy)

Hello everyone hope that you enjoy the missionary joke (complementary of Sister Bringhurst).

Well Elder Hunsaker is gone.... But ELDER MESERVY IS HERE!!! He is my new companion and he is absolutely AMAZING!!! He is a GREAT teacher and leader, he is our district leader here in the Peoria area and a Zone leader over the most successful (number wise) zone in the mission, Des Moines. He has been out 17 months and is from Salem, Utah. he has 5 sibling and has attended a semester at Snow College. We get along together great; he is super funny, except in the morning, and we are always laughing.

We have found TWO new investigators, Danny C. and Benny G. Danny is a member referral from a member down in Canton Branch, he has been dating a member, Laura, for 7 months and she finally told the missionaries about him on Thursday last week. we went strait over to his house and introduced him to a thing we teach out here called the Stop Smoking Workshop-how to quit smoking in 7 days guaranteed, it is centered around prayer.

Benny is a former investigator who we checked up on, according to the teaching record we have on him the visit we had with him was very similar to his first ever. First similarity, he was out on his porch when we met him. second he was going through a really hard time in his life, before his wife was going to leave him, now a judge is deciding if they can live together or not. third, he took the visit as an answer to prayers. Finally, he already believes everything that the church teaches!! including the Book of Mormon is true.

This week has been AMAZING!!!! we have worked so hard and been rewarded almost everyday for our efforts! we have a great new meal coordinator Sister Eldridge, we have meals set up for almost every day this month and a lot of meals with less active members and part member families. WE ARE LOVING HER SO MUCH!!!!

Well have a great day will every one please pray that Danny will stop smoking and that Benny will come to church and see that ours is different, "not a Concert" like all of the other churches in the world.

Mom: Please tell TJ and Courtney that they will be loving both of their missions and that the heat and HUMIDITY will welcome them both to their missions, we are starting to feel it here in Pekin now.

Kristin: Yes the Mr. Mormon talks are approved and THANK YOU so much for getting those for me, I loved all that Elder Hunsaker and I learned from them.
