Hello everyone!!!
Life is interesting out here in Pekin and we have been moving slow on purpose. My health issues still have yet to resolve themselves, we have a doctor appointment today to try and get them resolved. But enough about me being sad lets get HAPPY!!!
We had a baptism this week and it was AMAZING it was of a little boy in our ward, Alex Gray, he is a great little boy who the family has a hard time coming to church because they live so far from the church house, 45 miles away, but they do love being included. Some of his aunts and uncles from the area came and watched some of them are not members and while Alex and his dad were changing we shared the first lesson on the restoration and it really brought the spirit into the room. Unfortunately we had another appointment and we could not stay and talk to them afterward.
One of our investigators died today, her name was Nadeen Canamoore she was 85 and she had a lung infection. it was defiantly time for her to go.
Jacob johnson is doing great and unfortunately we will have to move back his Baptism date, because he is sick with strep throat, i feel bad for him and hope that he gets better soon. although it may be a blessing in disguise because we have not been able to teach him the last few lessons because he has been sick and i have been sick.
One of the old sisters in our ward had her knees replaced and it is really bad looking and we are going to try our best to help her in these trying times. her name is sister Eldridge and she is a very spiritual person in everything she does. we love her very much, we cooked her dinner yesterday and did some house work and gave her the sacrament and a blessing.
Taylor: Glad you got my package and hope that you don't break this one to. i knew that you would do well in Olympiad and i am very happy for you. tell Mr. Nethercott hi from me.
Sisters: i love you all and thank you for the prayers and letters, especially the ones from the kids. i hope everyone is doing well and that you are all happy and feeling well.
Lizzy, Callie and Sue: I got your letter Lizzy and I loved reading it so much!! the disney show that you three went to must have been just magical and amazing in every aspect.
I love you all and am hoping for the best for everyone you are all in my prayers. I love you,
